Without oil, water, and lye, there is no soap. The oil that SOAPKRAF chooses can do far more than just providing part of the chemical reaction needed for saponifying. They have wonderful skin-loving properties. Some have healing properties for certain skin problems, while some have more specialised benefits. We list down here some of the basic information on the oil qualities that users need to know.​

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is one of the primary oil we use in our soap. It gives a tremendous , bubbly lather to soaps. It has a super cleansing properties so its important that the quantity used is precisely calculated or the soap can be drying to the skin. It has a long shelf life and it makes a beautiful white bar .​

Olive Oil

This is a very stable oil and does not go rancid easily. It creates a long-lasting, nondrying, mild soap with a creamy and stable lather. It's very gentle. It makes a great soap to use for babies and the elderly who have dry skin because it attracts moisture to the skin.It contains vitamin E and K. Olive oil has along history of being used as a home remedy for skin care.​

Palm Oil

Palm oil makes a nice, hard bar when use in combination with other oils. We use this oil as a stabilizer. It's one of the top oil. It makes a hard bar, stable creamy lather. Combines well with coconut oil.

Castor Oil

Castor increases the bubbly and creamy lather in soap as well as the conditioning. Castor is unique. It is composed entirely of ricinoleic fatty acid found in no other oils. This makes it an excellent humectant, attract and holding moisture to the skin.

Neem Oil

Neem seed oil gets rid of head lice and won't poison your child. Neem oil is great to use in soap that's for eczema, psoriasis and acne. It is growing in popularity as a soap making oil due to its antiseptic, anti-fungal and insect repellent qualities and very high in antioxidant.​​

Grape Seed Oil

Grape seed oil is rich in flavonoids called procyanidolic oligomers (PCODs). These phytochemicals have antioxidant properties which protects the cells from free radicals. Flavonoids also inhibit allergic reactions. These factors help fight against uncomfortable skin problems in eczema patients. It is also known to rebuild cellular tissue. Plus, it has a high astringent property which helps tighten pores and tones the skin

Neem Leave

Neem leaves have been used medicinally in India and Pakistan since ancient times as baths for children suffering from skin diseases especially chicken pox. Like the oil, neem leave has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-parasitic and anti-fungal properties. In india neem is perceives as a beauty aid.Powdered neem leaves are a major component of top selling facial creams. Powdered neem leaves mix with turmeric is said to be effective in treating leprosy.
